I am soooooo sorry, it has been ages since I have posted in here! I have a pretty good excuse....really!
Business has really picked up for me. I made the decision a while ago to close my Etsy shop and concentrate on getting Custom Orders, Consignments and Wholesale business. All of my time and hard work has paid off!
I now have 2 consignments in CA and 1 in PA. At the consignment in PA I was given the front window to set up my display, very exciting! I have an order I am working on for a Chris…

March 28, 2009 - Although it took a few weeks, I prepared copper jump rings for my next creation. When the wound spring of copper was cut, I noticed that several burrs were created. I had to spend a lot of time tumbling the rings, using a cup de-burrer, tumbling again, before I couldn't even begin to create the bracelet below. This is the standard Byzantine pattern, with a clasp easily made from the same copper wire.

Here are a few items that I just listed that round off my Birthstone line of jewelry. I do not have the other six months yet as far as crystal colors go, but I am working on it.

Designer Jewelry - Another Flower Bead Crochet Bracelet
Sometimes my designs come from combining two different things that I've done. One of my bead crochet bracelets that I've done in the past, used variegated colored thread with crystal glass beads. The design of the bracelet came from the thread not the beads. This weekend I finished a bracelet that used the sa

Hi folks... recently one of the magazines showed a necklace with beaded glass eyeballs. I've searched Mat-Su area and haven't been able to find anything similar. Target had eyeballs in ice cube trays and gummy bear textured candy eye balls. Perhaps I'll have better luck in anchorage. I've thought of children's marbles, making them from polymer clay... Any tips would be appreciated. I'd like the eyeball to be a surprise in a beaded item! LOL! Thanks, Ann in Alaska

Things around here have been pretty hectic! At one point I was working a full time job as well as a part time one! Was getting to the point of being run down. Just recently, my husband got a fantastic job with the Ministry of Government Services doing basically computer help desk. He actually does computer help for the Justice Department...pretty cool if you ask me and the pay is GREAT to boot! I can now concentrate solely on my bead work. I've had a little trouble getting my muse back up and ru…

The watch band below is one that I designed in response to a challenge made to create a watch band that was adjustable. I started with the bead crochet tube, and then used some techniques to add wire to the ends of the tube. When I was done with the bracelet, I donated the watch and the band to charity.
That was years ago. I had always intended to write up the pattern. However, other bead ideas flooded into my brain and I never got around to writing up the pattern. With one of my custo

While I am working on customer orders and new designs, which are the types of work that go quickly, I try to have a long term project going. If I don't, I make mostly bracelets, or my customers wait too long for their orders to be fulfilled. Worse yet, new patterns don't get written up!
Below is one of my long term projects. I break the project down into parts and that helps me finish the project instead of creating
