Thanks.. the winged hearts are a longtime favorite of my..it was one of the first things i made when i first discovered hot glass,, i really like the color and energy of your beads!
I have been making beads for about 4 years. My studio has been packed up temporarily and I am really anxious to get set up again. I have an online bead business and the beads you see on my page are ones I have to sell there. I have designed many of the beads I sell. They are made in China. I know, I know. Some people are NOT in favor of that. But there is a huge market for beads and the people who buy artist made beads don't usually want the ones made in China. There is room for both. I also sell porcelain, wood, bone, leather, and Czech beads, to name some. I am adding findings and charms soon. I have made my living at it for 5 years now.
I am really loving making chain right now and other wire wrapping projects. Learning some soldering too. There are so many things to do, that I will never live long enough to do them all. I know how you feel when you say you often feel like it will take so long to do it all. I am 63 and I really feel that way. I owned my own manufacturing business for 25 years and I still have only scratched the surface of the jewelry world. And then I knit and quilt too!
It's always interesting, isn't it. Thanks for writing to me. Let's keep in touch. I would love to see what wonderful new things you create.
